Leather Care

Thoughtful care keeps your genuine leather supple and your solid brass looking its best.

Routine Care

After wear, wipe the collar gently with a clean, soft, dry cloth. Allow any surface moisture to air-dry naturally before storing.

Keep It Dry

Avoid soaking the collar, swimming while wearing it, prolonged rain, salt water, and direct contact with harsh cleaning products. If the leather becomes wet, remove the collar and let it dry naturally at room temperature. Do not use a hair dryer, radiator, or other direct heat source.

Conditioning

Use leather-care products sparingly and only after testing a small, discreet area. Products can change the leather’s color or finish. Do not apply household cleaners, alcohol, bleach, or abrasive products.

Solid Brass Hardware

Wipe the hardware with a soft, dry cloth. Over time, solid brass develops a natural patina, a warm, antique tone many people love. To restore its original shine, simply buff it with a premium brass polish cream on a soft cloth, keeping it off the leather.

Storage

Store the collar in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight, excessive heat, and humidity. Keep it unfastened and avoid folding or crushing the leather.

Inspect Before Use

Before each use, inspect the leather, stitching, buckle, D-ring, and fasteners. Discontinue use if you notice significant wear, cracking, loose stitching, or damaged hardware.

Every collar is cut from genuine Italian leather, so each one has its own natural grain.
